Perry’s journey to becoming a financial advisor is rooted in a lifelong commitment to serving others and helping them succeed. Raised in the small rural town of Tabor City, North Carolina, near North Myrtle Beach, Perry graduated from East Carolina University in 1987 with a degree in Business Finance. His life and career have taken him across the globe, including nearly 15 years living with his family in Southeast Asia, where he gained valuable personal and professional experiences while developing a deeper appreciation for relationships, trust, and community. Throughout his career, Perry desired to use his passion for helping and serving others. Recognizing that he wanted to guide people toward financial security and lasting prosperity rather than debt, he found his calling in financial advising. Today, as a member of OakBridge Financial, Perry combines his financial knowledge, life experience, and genuine passion for people to help clients build confident financial futures and create a legacy of independence secured for generations to come.
Outside of his professional life, Perry is deeply grateful for his family. He cherishes his three adult children—one son and two daughters—as well as his daughter-in-law and son-in-law. One of his greatest joys is being a grandfather, and he takes immense pride in spending time with his granddaughter and two grandsons who enrich his life.
