Daniel Paradise, CFP®

Dan began his career with Equitable Advisors in his hometown of Buffalo in 2007. Working his way up from an intern he began his practice just a short year later. As his practice grew, primarily helping everyday families achieve financial independence, Dan pursued an opportunity in the Raleigh branch of Equitable Advisors where he quickly became a leader in that community.

Shortly thereafter, Dan saw the need to add more Advisors and began hiring and developing junior Financial Professionals to help with his growth plans in Raleigh. Through one financial professional at a time, Dan shared his talents and vision to be the number one team in the South.  This led to his dream of building his own firm and began the journey of Oakbridge Financial Group, LLC.

Three years after taking on the responsibility of Vice President of Equitable Advisors, his team elevated the ranks to top-10 in the nation for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent and has been amongst the best in the Nation since.

The growth opportunities of the Raleigh market and the quality of the service provided by the firm elevated Dan's team to the top 5% in many categories of Advisor development and client satisfaction many years in a row.  Because of this, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Equitable Advisors in the entire Carolinas as he helps oversee over 170 Advisors across both states.  Since this promotion, the Carolinas won Equitable’s President’s Trophy awarded to the top-ten firms in the Nation.

Continuing to maintain and expand his education is important to Dan. In 2012, Dan obtained the coveted Retirement Planning Specialist designation from the Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania.  He obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation in 2018. This certificate is awarded to those who have met CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements and have agreed to adhere to CFP Board's Standards of Professional Conduct.  In 2023 he achieved Columbia University’s Credentialed Holistic Financial Coach designation addressing the evolving needs of the public.

He does all this keeping busy with his “best pals” - sons Carter and Bennett. Dan is also involved with the MeFine Foundation, which dedicates time and money to families of critically ill children in his local community, and Knights of Columbus living out his faith in his home and community.
