Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Amanda grew up in a family of hardworking, blue-collar workers who were never approached to explore professional financial planning. This has inspired her to become the kind of advisor her family never had—someone who is educational, empathetic, and a trusted partner who helps clients see money as a tool, not an obstacle.
Amanda lives just outside Raleigh with her husband and their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her son at basketball tournaments, joining in on her daughter’s ever-evolving interests and adventures, music, international travel with her husband and friends, and photography.
Amanda is a career changer, entering the financial services industry in her early 40’s. Her first career as a recruiter was what brought her to the firm. She joined the team in 2022 to help with recruitment and was soon given the opportunity to become a financial advisor. She earned her state insurance licenses, SIE, Series 66 and Series 7 to began serving clients, and in 2024 earned her Series 24 and stepped into a leadership role alongside Dillon Burdette.
Today, Amanda serves in a dual role, helping clients pursue their financial goals while recruiting, developing, and supporting new advisors as they begin their careers.
Her greatest satisfaction in this career comes from helping clients feel confident and informed about their financial future while watching the advisors she has recruited grow into successful professionals.
